Get Outside. Get Active!
Our outdoor camps help students of all ages meet their full potential and experience all the fun of summer camp! Summer 2021 is right around the corner, and we cannot wait to invite more students into the Auburn Family this year! Check out our line-up of outdoor camps:
Outdoor Adventure Camp: Sample the best that living on the plains has to offer! The Alabama Wildlife Federation will be the first adventure where you will spend a day canoeing, learning archery, and handling animals. Next, expect to experience the wildest waters and conquer Class III rapids while rafting the Chattahoochee River. Alabama’s rolling hills and vast plains are the best backdrops to learn basic orienteering while seeing incredible views hiking through our state parks. Finish out the week exploring Auburn University’s campus. This adventure-packed week will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.
Coastal Fisheries Camp: The School of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences, The Fisheries Learning Center, and Dauphin Island Discovery Hall Programs have partnered and are offering Coastal Fisheries Camp. This camp will be held on the Dauphin Island Sea Lab campus at Dauphin Island, Alabama. This fun and intense 5-day academic camp introduces high school students to the marine environment and is designed to give students a better understanding and appreciation of the various fields in marine science.
Fisheries and Aquaculture Camp: The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES) and Auburn University Fisheries and Allied Aquacultures Department are offering Fish Camp — five days of intense fun and hands-on activities blended into a creative learning experience that provides the broadest possible exposure to natural resource careers with an emphasis on aquaculture, fisheries, and aquatic ecology. This camp involves a lot of field/outdoor activity and is a great opportunity to learn from Auburn’s renowned fisheries, aquaculture, and aquatic ecology professionals.
Sr. Exploring Agriculture and Gaining Leadership Experience Camp (E.A.G.L.E): E.A.G.L.E Camp is an opportunity for 9th-12th grade students to gain hands-on experience in the science and agriculture worlds.
