Back by popular demand, this fall AYP is offering Virtual STEAM programs for students ages 8 -14.

Students ages 8–14 are given the chance to grow their knowledge and passion in the field of technology while creating new worlds in various Black Rocket programs hosted by the Auburn Youth Programs throughout this fall. These programs give students hands on experience in computer game design, software engineering and coding, as well as digital art.

Get ready to expand your Redstone knowledge with a variety of mini-games, roller coasters, and attractions powered by Redstone. Students will learn how to use Command and Structure blocks to incorporate them into your builds. This program will further skills and take your Minecraft structures to the next level!

This program is made for curious young minds who want to dive into the world of programming and game development! Each lesson takes you step-by-step on a programming path that will let you challenge friends with fun content you create from start to finish, all while growing essential skills needed for their future.

Does your student have an interest in game design? This program utilizes the world creation tool used by real-world ROBLOX® developers! Students will learn how to build 3D models and bring characters to life with unique animations fueled from their creativity.

It’s time to start your career as the next Youtube star! This program will give you tips on the “ins and outs” of the video platform, and help develop your on camera presence, branding, and professional editing skills. Participants will take home a plan for launching their own Youtube channel with the content created within this program.

Registration is open through the month of October, and we cannot wait for you to join us in the world of Black Rocket Programs.
