This summer, Auburn Youth Programs is hosting Emergency Medical Responder Camp for anyone interested in a field of emergency medicine, or in serving on the response team as a non-EMS responder in the government, corporate, law enforcement, or corrections field. This Emergency Medical Response course provides invaluable skills and knowledge to help responders appropriately help at the scene of an emergency.

Summer 2021 Virtual STEAM Courses with Black Rocket are back!

Auburn Youth Programs is so excited to offer Virtual STEAM Courses again this summer! Campers ages 8 through 14 will have a chance to grow their knowledge of technology while creating new worlds in various Black Rocket programs.

Every program is powered by the camper’s innate imagination and designed to bring their ideas to life in a fun, hands-on learning environment. These courses mirror real-life experiences, and the collaborative nature game design, coding, and digital art. Creative Writing Studio is a great opportunity for your student this summer and we want to tell you why!

Creative writing is a great skill for any student to have because it promotes creativity, helps students develop their individual voice, and so much more.

Auburn Youth Programs offers Creative Writing Studio each summer for students 9th-12th grade to grow their passion for writing and focus on sharpening skills in three genres — fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction.

We are bringing Vet Camp to you!

In partnership with Auburn Youth Programs, Auburn University’s School of Veterinary Science will be hosting a 3-day Virtual Vet Camp Experience!

Second-year veterinary students, with faculty, technicians and staff provide the veterinary coursework campers will take, which is similar to actual veterinary education. In this 3-day virtual camp, campers will learn about public health, food animals, wildlife, anatomy, imaging, and first aid, as well as gain valuable mentoring about veterinary science careers.

Students can expect online materials, live interactive instruction, hands-on activities facilitated by AU vet students and clinicians, Q&A with vet students, team competition with other participants, helpful hints…
